I recently heard a podcast interview of Rick Steves on the NYTimes, and just loved how over the decades he’s evolved his role from being a travel planner and tour guide to a ‘travel teacher.’

At the TTC, our entire organization is dedicated to helping tourism evolve and become more enlightened. It just fills my cup to teach our experience development training and workshops. Now, if we could get all travel and tourism companies, agents, and guides to move beyond order-taking and intentionally help people travel better, and more consciously, the impact would be truly remarkable.
